MAKING A CLAIM
HERE TO PUT THINGS RIGHT
When your furry friend is ill or injured we know
you’ll want to get the right help pronto. So we make
claims easy. Simply ask us to pick up the treatment
bill through our fast claims service.
When a visit to the vet is needed, check that the treatment is covered by your pet insurance policy before going ahead with it. Download our Policy Document or call our UK call centre on 0345 078 7500. We can often pre-authorise a claim.
Fill in the first page of your claim form and pass it to your vet to complete the second page. When you send us the claim make sure you include the completed form, all your receipts and your pet’s medical history. Any missing info may delay your claim.

If we need any further information we will contact you or your vet. We aim to assess your claim within 5 working days, but it can take up to 15.
As soon as we approve your claim, we’ll pay you (minus your excess and any items not covered by your policy) directly into your account or by cheque – whichever you prefer. We could also pay your vet directly (with their authorisation).

Simply complete the online journey to claim back your pet’s medication and related check-up costs. Upload your vet bills, and confirm the details. Then submit online. It’s as easy as that! By cutting out the time spent printing and posting, you’re ready to be paid back quicker than ever.
If your vet needs to send your pet to a referral vet and it isn’t an emergency, your vet will be able to help you choose from our “Preferred Referral Vet Network”. Using vets from our network will help you avoid paying any additional excess costs. You can rest assured that clinicians at these practices are accredited in their chosen discipline by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or European and American Boards.
If your vet is unable to recommend a referral vet from the network, or if you would like help in choosing a referral vet please call the Pet Claims helpline on 0345 078 7500. Should you prefer not to use a vet from the network, you will be asked to pay £200 in addition to your excess.
