What does our Cat Insurance include?
At Argos Pet Insurance, we know that your cat can develop a health condition or get ill at any time. That’s why we provide cat insurance policies that could cover your vet bills for various treatments, along with other benefits too. Our cat insurance policies could cover:
- Veterinary fees including dental cover, complementary treatment, physiotherapy, behavioural illnesses and overseas veterinary treatment
- Advertisement and reward if your cat or kitten goes missing
- Theft or straying
- Emergency boarding cattery fees if you are hospitalised for more than 48 hours
- Complementary veterinary helpline, live chat and video
- Other travel cover, such as holiday cancellation, quarantine costs, loss of healthcare certificate, or emergency expenses abroad if your sick or goes missing whilst abroad.
If your cat was to sadly pass away from an accident or injury, we can also cover some of the costs, including cremation if you choose.
Please note that we won’t cover any pre-existing conditions and that terms, conditions, excesses, exclusions and limitations apply. You can find out more about the terms of our cover in our policy documents.
Whether you have adopted a kitten, or you have a life-long feline friend in the family, you may be thinking about insurance. You could benefit from an annually renewed vet fee limit for new conditions.
This policy could cover your cat for veterinary fees, such as non routine dental work and physiotherapy, overseas veterinary treatment, and even payment for advertisement and rewards if your cat goes missing.
Just like us, your cat could get into all sorts of mishaps at any time. If your cat was to develop an illness that they have never had before, this could mean that you will need to pay for treatment to get them back to feeling themselves. With a Time Limited policy, new conditions are covered for a 12-month period, or until the vet fee limit has been spent, whichever comes first.
Our Time Limited policy can cover new conditions, as well as helping you if your cat is stolen or goes missing. You can also benefit from holiday travel cover.
Maximum Benefit Insurance covers accidents, illnesses and new medical conditions up to a pre-agreed financial limit. You can claim multiple times on the same condition until the limit is reached, from that point onward, the condition will no longer be covered under the policy.
The Maximum Benefit option could cover your cat if it requires ongoing medication during the term of the policy, as the recurring cost will be covered up to the pre-agreed financial limit (provided the condition is new and not pre-existing).
